Law, Garry George - 70, Truro, died peacefully at home on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Garry was born in Montreal, on October 21, 1942, son of the late Christopher and Emma (Stevenson) Law. He was the youngest of eleven children. Garry moved to Truro in 1975 to raise his family and worked in sales for 37 years. He recently retired from Sears. He was an active member of the Truro Lions Club, serving on the club executive and chairing numerous committees. Garry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved music and looked forward to his annual vacation on a southern beach. Garry’s spontaneity, sense of humour and warmth will be greatly missed by his extended family and all his friends. Garry is survived by his loving wife, Farrell (Scott); daughters, Kara, Lindsay Law-Roode (Todd), grandchildren, Ricky, Joshua andRyan Brule and Olivia Roode and his sister, Doreen (Gordon) Parker. The family would like to thank Dr. Deanna Field, Dr. Cortney Smith, Sue Gibbon, RN and the VON Palliative Care team for their help and support. No visitation by request. A service to celebrate Garry's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5 in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
