Passed peacefully away at Masonic Park Nursing Home on December 4, 2012, Albert John Marrie, aged 76 years. Predeceased by his wife Joan Marrie (nee Bennett), and his brother Mike Marrie. Leaving to mourn, his children: Dwayne (Meredith), Neil (Marie), Karen (Chris); five grandchildren; brothers: Gus (Heather), John, and Ron; sister Mary Hall (Don); as well as extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Paradise, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, or St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital – Palliative Care Unit.
