SAULNIER, Pauline May – 78, of Meteghan, formerly of Darling’s Lake, Yarmouth Co., passed away November 30, 2012 in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII Site. Born in Saulnierville on March 31, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Elisée and Lily (Bourneuf) Theriault. Pauline was a member of Saint Vincent-de-Paul Parish, Salmon River. She is survived by her husband, R. Benoit Saulnier, Meteghan; son, Bruce, Key Largo, Florida; daughters, Janice (Keith) Colby, Exeter, New Hampshire; Colette (Mark) Twomey, Newburyport, Mass.; brother, Nelson, Saulnierville; grandchildren, Ashley Colby, Liza Twomey and Landis Twomey; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Laura Boudreau and Azilda LeBlanc. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request of the family there was no visitation. A funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 4 in Stella Maris Catholic Church, Meteghan, Father Wieslav Papuga officiated, with interment in Saint Vincent-de-Paul Cemetery, Salmon River after the service.
