Harvey, Ralph Howard-87, Brooklyn, Hants Co., passed away suddenly on December 3, 2012 at home. Born in Brooklyn, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Irving and Nellie (Rockwell) Harvey. Ralph worked at Fundy Gypsum for many years and at the Hants Co-op Feed Mill. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening and had a lifelong passion for farming. Ralph was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Alma (Ettinger), daughter Carolyn (Bob) Baker, Dartmouth and son Peter (Daff), Kentville, grandchildren Jan (Brent), Kim (Ed), Nicole (Shane), Brad, five great grandchildren and sister Frances Harvey, Halifax. Cremation and private graveside committal have taken place. Donations in memory can be made to the Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department or charity of choice.
