Judy Ann (Stewart) Watson

Watson, Judy Ann (Stewart) - 48, of Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, formerly of Greenfield, went peacefully home on Monday, December 10th, 2012. For many years Judy could be seen all around town, including the entrance to Immaculate Conception Church, collecting orders for Christmas fruitcakes and goodies sold by the MS Society. Having been supported by the Society for many years this was her way to give back and help raise awareness of this condition that she fought for almost two decades. Judy is survived by her two teenage children Stephanie and Aaron who so lovingly took care of her when she could not do it herself. She is also survived by her parents Mike and Mary Stewart, as well as brothers, Michael, Daniel (Helen), Finley, Richard (Charlene), Ronald, Angus (Denise), Bernard (Joanne); sisters, Cathy Miller (Jerald), Rose Sims (John), Mary MacGregor (Rob), Barbara Drummond (Scott), Deborah as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Judy was predeceased by her brother Alex and sister Camilla. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12th from 6 -9 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. She will then be taken back home to Cape Breton where visitation will be Thursday, December 13th from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m., at Inverness Funeral Home, 45 MacIsaac St., Inverness. Her journey will end with a funeral Mass on Friday, December 14th at 11 a.m. in St Joseph’s Parish, South West Margaree, Father Douglas MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish cemetery.
