Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center in the comfort of her loving family, Mary Kenny of Avondale in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her parents Fred & Kitty Furey, father & mother-in-law Charles & Margaret Kenny, brother-in- law David. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Charlie of 48 years; son Charlie (Heather), Brigus; daughter Cathy (Rick Mercer), St. John’s; sisters: Marion (Gordon) Cole, Avondale, Catherine (Eugene) Crowley, Holyrood: sisters in law: Gertrude (Gerald) Whelan, Colliers, Margaret (Luke) Terry, Hr. Main, Helen Kenny, Kitchues, Madonna Trask, Mary Lane & Agnes Fabio, all of the USA, also a large circle of nephews, nieces, god children, friends as well as all of her pets. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Thursday & Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from Assumption Church, Avondale. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Assumption Cemetery in Avondale at a later date. No flowers by request.
