HAMILTON, Sadie Ruth – 98, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the Villa. Born November 21, 1914 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Daisy (Higby) Sherman. Sadie was a homemaker, and was a devoted member of Evangel Assembly, Yarmouth. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, and she is survived by a son, Donnie (Cheryl) Hamilton, Yarmouth. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Hamilton. Visitation took place from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, December 16, immediately followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Pastor Oral Stewart officiated. Interment will take place at Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery in the spring.
