Patricia Ann Sorensen (nee: Gibson), was born on March 24, 1938 in Edmonton, Alberta. She married Jim Sorensen on March 27, 1954.

Patricia was taken by our Lord on December 13th, 2012 at home in Kamloops, BC.

Her family cherishes her memories. Husband Jim Sorensen, Children: Ken (Bonnie) Sorensen, Debbie (Bryon Hodgkin) and Shelley (Didier Toutain); Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Tracy Hodgkin and Del Komarniski Jordan and Anika; Cassidy and Clint Hexter and Lucca; Brooke and Jerrad Orser and Kaleb; Jens and Misty Sorensen will truly miss her.

She was more than a sister to her many sisters, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was confident and a force of stability throughout all their lives.

Patricia branched out and provided comfort and strength to all members of her church family. She always said "Strangers were just friends I hadn't met yet".

She looked after her young family while educating herself with bookkeeping skills and worked in various positions utilizing those skills throughout her life. She retired in 2003 and became busier than ever, giving of her time to so many others. She carded, quilted, knitted, baked and volunteered in many areas of her church. Her door was always open to everyone at any time.

A Celebration of Patricia Ann's Life will be held at the Kamloops Evangelical Free Church, 1132 - 8th Street on Tuesday, December 18th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Fellowship to follow at the Church.
