Marie "Therese" McDougall
The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home, Charlottetown, on Thursday, December 13, 2012, of Marie "Therese" McDougall, Charlottetown, formerly of Bloomfield, aged 88, wife of the late Ernest McDougall.
Born in Hawkesbury, ON, September 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Alphyre and Aurore (Proulx) Demers. Dear mother to Nancy Laporte, Charlottetown. Loving grandmother to Vicky Laporte, Charlottetown; Karen (Ross) Lepiez, Kandy (Jay) Bowman, Steven McDougall (Jamie Burnett) and Christopher McDougall, all of Ontario; and great-grandchildren, Brian, Isabel, Conor, Hunter and Chelsea. Dear sister to Charlotte Menard, Cecile Brabant, Suzanne Sauve, Francois (Sandy), Andre, Serge (Odette) and Jean-Pierre Demers, all of Ontario; and sister-in-law to Eleanor Baxter, Rita and Vera MacDougall, Lawrence and Rollande Demers of Ontario and New Brunswick.
Predeceased by her parents; husband of 47 years in 1997; and son, Brian (1991).
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O¹Leary, with visiting hours Monday, December 17, from 12 p.m. until the time of the
funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Campbellton United Church Cemetery.
