Barbara Ann MacRae

Barbara A. MacRae, of Riverview, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Ville St. Pierre, PQ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nieltje (Nellie) (Dekker) McCulloch.
Barb retired from CIBC Riverview branch in 1999, prior to moving to Riverview in 1976, she worked for CIBC at the University Plaza in Charlottetown and Holman's in Summerside. She was a long-time member of "The Lansdowne Ladies". She loved attending those emergency meetings with her dear "coffee girls" and will be dearly missed. Whether it be Sunday afternoons at the Legion, a good game of bridge or, in her spare time, researching genealogy, were but just a few of the many things that brought joy to Barb's life.
She will be dearly missed by daughter, Debby MacRae (Dale Killam) of Turtle Creek; son, Jeff of Riverview; sister, Jean Jackson (Graham) of Point Claire, PQ; brother, Robert (Bob) of St. Laurent, PQ; grandchildren, Jamie and Tim Doucette and Connor FitzGerald; special friend, Cliff Ryan of Petitcodiac; sisters-in-law, Isabelle Picketts of Margate, Joan (Vernon) Simpson of Summerside, P.E.I., and Janet Murphy of Seaview; brother-in-law, Clifford Picketts of Summerside; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, J. Bradford MacRae in 1996.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (869-2007) on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Then forwarded to the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Thomas Anglican Church, Spring Brook, with Rev. Margie Fagan officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
