WARMAN, PHYLLIS CONSTANCE (MARKEY) - (1933 - 2012) - REXTON, NB - It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Warman, 79, of Bass River Point announce her passing at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Sunday evening, December 16, 2012, surrounded by her family and the wonderful staff at The Rexton Lions Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late William and late Anne (Brown) Markey. Born in Spring Brook, January 21, 1933 she married the love of her life Allan Warman and became a farmer's wife. She was also a teacher, hair dresser and bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church and the Rexton Golden Age Club. She loved making meals for anyone who stopped in to visit, playing cards, bingo and looking after her grandchildren. She enjoyed eating out at restaurants and shopping. She treasured the love of her friends and family and her quick wit was her trade mark. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Sheila Ryan (Gary) of Bass River, Emily Daigle (John) of Jardineville, four sons; Blaine Warman (Jane) of Sussex, Kevin Warman (Paula) of Bass River Point, Dale Warman (Cheryl) of Beersville, Randy Warman (Lisa) of Rexton, eighteen grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren. Phyllis is also survived by one sister; Cecilia Richard (late Willie) of Sackville, two sisters-in-law; Jennie and Rhea, three brothers-in-law; Arnold (Helen), Vincent (Helen) and Carl. She was predeceased by her husband; Allan Warman (1990), her brother; Edward Markey (Ruth) six sisters; Anne Murphy (Fred), Margaret Murphy (Dan) Mary Murphy (Owen), Teresa Swift (Carl) and Serena Warren (Earl).
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 am, St. Stephen's United Church, Molus River. Donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation, St. Stephen's United Church or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. She will be sadly missed by all. Her family want to thank The Villa Maria inc, and the Rexton Lions Nursing Home Staff for their caring and wonderful support during her stay there.
