James Wilfred MacLean
At the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 17, 2012, the death occurred of James Wilfred MacLean, age 81 years.
Born in Cardigan, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Mary (MacDonald) MacLean. James is survived by his loving wife, Mary; son, Clifford (Jackie Rose) MacLean; daughter, Donna (Donnie) O'Brien; daughter-in-law, Darlene; sisters, Edith MacPhee, Gertie Cain and Bernadine Faulkner; grandchildren, Pamela, Cheryl, Stephanie, Jamie, Nancy, Tracy and Amy; great-grandchildren, Drew, Callie, Grayer, Megan, Morgan, Denver, Tyler, Dawson, Emmett, Katie, Michaela, Brett and Cassie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents he was predeceased by his son, Michael; daughter, Pauline; sisters, Margaret Farrell, Agnes Forgues, Winnifred Taylor, Isabel Steele, Rita Burke and Mary MacPhee; and brothers, Michael, George, Joseph, Benedict, Daniel and Steven.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home until Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 10 a.m., then to All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Cardigan, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the All Saints Parish Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
