BYERS, MARGARET J. – The death of Margaret Joan Byers of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Donald Byers, occurred on Monday, December 17, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Saint John on October 21, 1937. Joan was employed at Red Rose Tea as a machine operator for over twenty years. She is survived by her sons; Don, Lawrence, Gordon, Peter, and Jeffery Byers, daughter; Margaret Byers, sisters; Terri Bradley and Marilyn Hannah, as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also survived by a good friend Lillian Amirault.
At Joan’s request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation will take place followed by a private family service and interment at a later date.
