On December 16, 2012 Martin Hansen passed away peacefully at Pine Grove Care Center. Born on December 23, 1924 in Raufess, Norway.

He was predeceased by wife Irene in 2005.

He is survived by son Aaron (Sandra) Hansen of Cranbrook, daughters Faye Hansen of San Raphael, CA, Lorri (Murray) Krausher of Kamloops, Kathy Hansen of Delta, Heather Hansen of Redwood City, CA. His granddaughters Tammy (Anthony) Brumwell of New Westminster and Melissa (Koshane) Watson of Kamloops.

Martin was a career salesman. He sold furniture, Real Estate and Investments in Prince George and the Lower Mainland. A great outdoor enthusiast, Martin spent many days deep in the woods hunting or fishing on many lakes, rivers and the ocean.
