Passed peacefully away at her late residence in Bay Roberts on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, Mrs. Laura Mabel Walsh of Bay Roberts, aged 89 years. Predeceased by parents Tom and Sadie Goodyear (nee Bradley), husband William Walsh, daughter Phyllis Walsh, died in infancy, sisters Doris (Carmen) Hounsell, Phyllis Templeman. Leaving to mourn sons: Melvin (Blanche), Ernest (Audrey); daughter Christine (Glenn) Fisher; brother Douglas (Nellie) Goodyear; brother-in-law Wesley Templeman; eight grandchildren: Jason (Viviane), Jordan (Lynnette), Joanne (Colin) Walsh, Geoffrey (Kim), Jennifer (Richard), Bradley Walsh, Corrin and Gavin Fisher; eight great-grandchildren: Liam, Ava, Mica, Matty, Ethan, Aliyah, Calleigh, Chase, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Raymond Shandera and his staff, also Compassion Home Care, especially Mary Ginn for the exceptional care and support provided to our Mom. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitations: Thursday: 7-9 p.m.: Friday: 10-12 Noon: 2-5 p.m. 7-9 p.m., Saturday: 10-12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Bay Roberts with interment in the St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
