At the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Raymond Martin Griffin passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012.
Born in Montague, October 24,1928, he was the son of the late Evelyn (Sorrey) VanIderstine, Albert and stepmother Laura Griffin. Raymond is survived by his children, Harry (Dianne) Griffin, Margaret (David) Doucette, Ernest Griffin; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Christina (Lester) Peardon; several nieces and nepehws. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Janet Beaton.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 10-12 noon. Interment to take place in the Peter's Road Cemetery in the spring.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
