It is with extremely heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend Thelma Pauline Haley on Dec. 22, 2012, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and May (Nash) Boutilier.
A life-long resident of Water Street, Thelma was employed with United Wholesales on McKeen Street, a position she held for over 20 years. She later worked at Archie’s convenience store.
Thelma enjoyed bingo and reading, her favourite author being Stephen King.
A family orientated woman, Thelma will always be remembered as a very caring and giving person. After the death of her father, Thelma moved into the family home to care for her mother. Thelma took great pride in her grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them on any occasion.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Michael Fabian Haley, nephew, Charles Wadden.
