Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on December 25, 2012, John Senior aged 96 years. Predeceased by his daughter Shirley; son-in-law Seymour; step-parents Emily & James Dicks. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 71 years Hannah (nee Loughlin); son Albert William (Heather) and daughter Susanne Ballard (Jack); 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; stepbrother James Loughlin; stepsister Lillian Barfoot (nee Dicks); John will also be greatly missed by Mary and Willis Clarke, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends. Special thank you to caregivers Ruth Dixon, Sherry Dixon, and Deannie Gosse, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, December 28, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Salvation Army West Corps, Mundy Pond Road, on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
