BLOOD, Doris Cecelia -77 of Middleton passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Dorothy Cecelia (Moore) Peart. Doris was a loving mother and grandmother, her home, better known as Do Drop In was always open to everyone and she had many wonderful friends who visited on a regular basis. Doris’ passion was her artistic ability which she demonstrated in her painting and music. Doris loved to tell stories of her past in a very descriptive way. She will be loved and sadly missed by all her children and grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Dee Dee Blood (Stephen Inkpen), Middleton; Debbie Chisholm (Brian Fenerty), Middle Sackville, NS; Roseanne Blood (Grant Cooke), Cobourg, ON; Jennifer (Darren) Comeau, Church Point; son, Brian (Jackie) Blood, Wilmot; grandchildren, Kaitlin Chisholm; Ryan Blood; Lauren Chisholm; Bradley McLeod; Bryson Chisholm; William McLeod, Wyatt Blood and Ava Blood; stepchildren, Tom Blood, Halifax; Caroline (Frank) Stevens, Canning and special cousin Lorraine Thomas, Halifax. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Warwick Ernest “Tom” Blood. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Middleton Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Smith and Rev. Dean Dickinson officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Annapolis Community Health Centre Palliative Care.
