Aubrey R. Varner
VARNER, AUBREY R. - 91, of Yorke Settlement passed away peacefully Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born on Glasgow Mountain, he was a son of the late George ‘Fred’ and Leah (Bowden) Varner.
He is survived by his wife, the former Leoda Yorke; daughters, Sharon Orr (Larry), Diligent River; Rhonda (Andy Fullerton), Tidnish; son, Brian (Linda), Memramcook; grandchildren, Brett, Amber, Kayla, Joshua, Jolaine; great-granddaughters, Isabella, Reese, Rylee, Emma; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Bernice, Grace, Mabel; brothers, Laurie, Edward, Stanley, Claude, Lloyd, Medley, Harry and Roy.
Funeral service will be held at Diligent River Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diligent River Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
