October 1, 1925. Passed peacefully away at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Peddle, parents Benjamin and Susannah (Hunt) Searle, sister Beatrice Jackman (Searle), brothers Edward (Mary), Benjamin (Betty), and John (Emily). Left to mourn brothers: Lew (Helen), Halifax, James (Joan), Brampton, Ontario; sisters: Stella Gosse (Raymond - dec), Betty Skanes (Harold), Daphne Byrne (James), Cambridge, Ontario and Judy Noseworthy (Freeman), Bell Island, and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Visitation at Pendergast’s Funeral Home 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 3rd and Friday, Jan 4th. Funeral service to be held at St. Michael’s Parish on Saturday, Jan 5th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Committal at St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery following the service. No flowers by request, donations to St. Cyprian’s and St. Mary’s Anglican Church Building Fund at the request of Elsie.
