GUIMOND, DIANA (DESROCHES) - (1922-2013) - SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Diana Guimond 90, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013. Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Phillias and late Apolline (Daigle) DesRoches. She attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church. Diana will be sadly missed by her son; Jean-Marc Guimond (Joanne) of Richibucto, two grandchildren; Serge Guimond of Richibucto, Chantal Guimond (Jeff) of Moncton and a great grandson; Riley. Diana is also survived by five sisters; Ethel Dupuis (late Tilmon) of Moncton, Catherine Maillet (Laurence) of Cap Lumiére, Lauréanne Mazerolle (late Alyre) of Bouctouche, Marie-Anne DesRoches - Congrégation de Notre-Dame of Saint Louis, Jeannette LeBlanc of Richibucto, four brothers; Adrien DesRoches (Jeannette) of Saint Louis, Alphonse DesRoches (Jeannine) of Saint Louis, Vital DesRoches of Shediac, Yvon DesRoches (Gervaise) of Quebec, sisters-in-law; Ange-Marie DesRoches of Saint Louis, Victorine Babineau of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Diana was predeceased by her parents, her husband; Alban Guimond, one brother; Alcide DesRoches and one sister; Yvette LeBlanc (late Ronald).
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9, Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in Diana's memory may be made to the Villa Maria. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
