Verna Lenore Osborne
At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, Verna Lenore Osborne (nee Gillis) of Cape Bear Road, Murray Harbour, beloved wife of John Buddy Osborne, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013, with her family by her side.
Born May 28, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James and Bessie (Higginbotham) Gillis. Besides her husband of 53 years, she is survived by her children, Charles (Paula), Kelly; sister, Margaret Murphy (Harold Doucette); cherished grandchildren, Kailie, Ryan and David; niece, Vicki Dunn (Gerry); and nephew, Kevin Murphy (Jane).
Funeral service will be held at the Murray Harbour Church of Christ on Monday, January 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
