Passed suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, January 7th, 2013. John “Doug” Delacey, aged 49 years. Predeceased by his father Leo Delacey and sister Geraldine Pilgram. Leaving to mourn his wife Diana Power; daughter Hollie; mother Lillian Delacey; brothers: Robert (Frances), Frank (Geraldine) and Jim (Brenda); sister Shirley Richards (Cecil); Stepsons: Thomas “Billy” Power (Barb) and Chris Power; stepdaughters: Wanda Doyle (Michael) and Kelley Moore (Barney). Also special grandchildren: Keara and Kamron; step-grandchildren: Clarissa, Rodney, Alicia, Logan and Jaden; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends; too many to mention. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Association.
