Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on Dec. 31, 2012, Mr. Gordon Patey of St. Anthony, NL, a resident of Shirley’s Haven in St. Anthony in his 84th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Doug (Linda), Donna (Graham), and Diane (George); sister Ethel (Walt) Biles; his 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his wife Nina, parents Arthur and Eva Patey, brother Sidney, and sister Mabel Winsor. Cremation took place on Jan. 3, 2013. A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
