Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Caribou Memorial Veteran Pavilion in St. John's, aged 91. Veteran of World War II, 125 Newfoundland Squadron, RAF. Left with loving memories are his devoted wife Ida; daughter Jean (Gerard) Hayes; son David (Jeannie); grandchildren: Brian (Miki) Hayes, Glen (Jenelle) Hayes, Lindsey and Ian Baird; sister Frances (Bob) Innes Baird; sisters-in-law Flo Keating and Honor Ginn, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Ave. Gander, NL. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service and inurnment from St. Stephens' Anglican Church, Salvage, NL. at a date to be announced.
