Passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Centre on January 12, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer, Anthony P. Noseworthy, age 59 years. Predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Noseworthy; younger sister, Doreen Wall; and aunt Sarah Churchill. Left with fond and loving memories his wife, Judy Gladney; two feline friends: Noel and Troubles; father, Augustus; brother, Joe (Nancy); and sister, Ethel Gladney (Frank). Also left to mourn his nieces: Niki Coursey (Scott), of Texas and Deborah Hammond, of Ontario; nephews: Ronnie Mason, of Ontario and special nephew Gus Hammond (Melanie); great niece and nephew: Morgan and Thomas Hammond, of Ontario; aunts: Phyllis Somerton, of Portugal Cove and Effie Garner, of USA; uncles: Fred Churchill (Sadie), of Portugal Cove and Nelson LeGrow, of Corner Brook; and cousin, Mary Shrock, of USA. Also mourning his loss are members of the Ash, Gladney, Harding, Laham, Scaplen and Tucker families; special friends: Jim Harding, Gary and Jolene Gladney, Bren Follett and Carol; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. As per Tony’s request, cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove, on Thursday January 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony’s memory may be made to Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
