Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, Hannah Foley age 96 years of Fox Harbour, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her husband Thomas 1971 and son Gerard 2011, brother Tom Murray, stepbrother Bill Murray (U.S.) and stepsisters Nellie Lawlor and Alice Slaney. Leaving to mourn her children: Dan (June), Bill, Jim (Barb), Mary (Gord) Young, Tom(Joan) and Paulette (Scott) Flaxman. Her grandchildren: Brian and Diana Foley, Curtis and Danielle Foley, Tim Young, Debbie Foley, Marc and Adam Foley and Victoria and Thomas Flaxman; also several great-grandchildren. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, at a time to be announced later. Funeral mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour, time and date to be given later. Interment to take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fox Harbour. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to any charity in her memory.
