Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on January 13, 2013 at the age of 44. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Martha Norris. Left to celebrate his life with lots of memories are his brothers Gordon (Lisa) and Glen (Romina); special niece Madelyn; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Kendall family and the staff of North 2 Hoyles building for their care and friendship over the years. Shawn was very active in the hockey and softball community especially with the Avalon Celtic, St. John’s Junior Hockey, and umpiring in numerous softball events for over 15 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service from Caul’s Chapel will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in his memory to the Huntington’s Society.
