The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Monday, January 14, 2013, of Louise Crossman, of Summerside, aged 90 years.
Born in Darnley, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Abbott) MacKay. Survived by her sons, Donald Crossman, Winnipeg, MB; Kenneth (Dawn Marie) Crossman, Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Evelyn (David) Benger; Dee (Shane) Robb; Bethany (Bobby) Wilson; Katie Crossman (Mathew Simpson); Cindy Crossman; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Tygart Benger, Rhett Robb, William and Hunter Wilson, Archer Simpson; sisters, Muriel Brown, Kensington; Joyce (Allan) Weber, Elmira, ON; sister-in-law, Daisy MacKay; brother-in-law, Joseph Wigmore; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Gordon Crossman; son, David Crossman; grandson, Daniel Crossman; brothers, Keir (Anna) and Elton (Ruth) MacKay; sisters, Esther Wigmore and Jean (Bruce) Ramsay; two brothers and one sister in infancy; brothers-in-law, Ray Crozier and Harry Brown.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to Central Street Christian Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
