It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Edwin Smith announce his passing on Monday, January 14th, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 77. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years Venessa; children: Jenny Barry (Gary), Diane McCormack (Wayne), Tammy Thomas (Darrell), Ronnie Smith (Deanna Hickey), Mary White (Todd King), Emily Jesso (Bruce), Vic Park (Sadie); 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Rhoda Hartman, Betty Hodgson, Rosemary Kelly; brother: Melvin Smith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Florence and Albert Smith; sister Grace Smith; brothers: Den Smith and Kenny Smith. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 18th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach, Reverend Nelson Chatman officiating, followed by the interment at the church cemetery.
