Brannen, Rochelle Marion, age 69, of Woodville, Nova Scotia; passed peacefully away with family by her side on Monday, January 14th, 2013 at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Born in Hamilton, Ontario; she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Almas) Lee. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband James of Woodville, NS; daughter Erika of Calgary, AB; brother Bill (Margaret) Lee of Winona, ON; aunt Bernice Sanders of Dundas, ON; brother in law David Brannen of Halifax, NS; also by several cousins and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Laurie Lee. Rochelle was “the rock” of her family. She was a strong, beautiful and caring mother, wife and friend. Always putting others before herself. She loved animals of all kinds and will be greatly missed by her “shadow” Ginger. The family would like to thank the staff of the intensive care unit at the Valley Regional Hospital for the excellent care that was received during her stay. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
