Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, January 17, 2013, of Reta Bell MacLure (nee Smith), age 88 years.
Mother of Janet MacLure, Malerie Gallant (Gerard) and Donna Gass (Barry). Grandmother of Craig Savidant (Rose), Cheryl Savidant, Gary Gallant (Sarah), Krista Gass (Trevor Hassall) and Tori Gass (Nilton Brum). Great-grandmother of Kayla Savidant-MacPhee. Remembered by her special nephew, Russell Smith (Betty), and by her step-great-grandson, Clint Harris.
Predeceased by her husband, Vernon "Bunny" MacLure; by her son, Bill MacLure; by her parents, Horace and Janet (Gerard) Smith; and by her brothers and sisters, Weldon Smith, Russell Smith (Agnes), Ann Fredenburg (Bill), Meltire Smith, Gerry "Junior" Smith and Betty Gilbert (Hank).
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Visitation on Sunday 4-7 p.m. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scents.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
