Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on January 17, 2013, Mrs. Annie Alice Piercey of Heart’s Content, aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband Arthur, son Arthur, infant son Roy, sisters Jean, Gladys, Minnie, Ethel, Beatrice, Elizabeth and brother Victor. Leaving to celebrate her life: daughter-in-law Jacqueline; granddaughters: Tara (David) Vatcher, Airdrie AB, Laura Lee (Adam) Smith, Listowel, ON, Diana (Phillip MacDonald), St. Johns, Gail (Roger) Eddy, Paradise, Emily (Chris Button), Old Perlican; great-grandchildren: John, Benjamin, Bailey, Jessie, Matthew, Alexis, Samantha, Hailey, Hannah, Noah and Avery; sisters-in-law: Marina Langer and Doris (Martin) Green; brother-in-law Edgar Pitcher. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Hearts Content on January 18 & 19, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., and January 20, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
