Sabean, Evelyn Ethel – 88 of Annapolis Royal formerly of Delaps Cove, passed away December 29, 2012, in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Toronto, Ontario she was a daughter of the late Henry “Harry” and Helen (Bunke) Leeder. She was a member of Order of The Eastern Star in Toronto, a very hard worker, enjoyed her flowers, and loved crafts. Evelyn was a loving mother and grandmother. She was associated with the Jehovah Witness. She is survived by daughters, Linda Atkinson, Delaps Cove and Gail Atkinson, River Phillip; brother, Nelson Leeder, Ontario; sister, Irene Bessey of Utica, New York; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, William Atkinson; 2nd husband, Larry Sabean; brother, Harold. Visitation was held Wednesday 7-9 pm January 2nd and Thursday 2-4 pm January 3rd in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A memorial service will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Northhills Nursing Home, Heart of the Valley Nursing Home and the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home for the loving care and compassion shown towards Evelyn.
