CHEVARIE, ELLA - 1919 - 2013 - Ella Chevarie, 93, of Résidence Bellevue, formerly of Acadie Avenue, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, January 17th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Dover, NB, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and the late Mélina (née: Auffrey) Cormier. Mrs. Chevarie was a member of the Club d’Âge d’Or de Dieppe, the C.W.L. and Sainte-Thérèse parish. She is survived by one daughter, Carmelle (Alfred) Belliveau of Pré-d’En-Haut; three sons: Charles (Therese) of Moncton, Gilles (Diane) and Jean-Maurice (Joanne), both of Dieppe; two sisters: May (Henri) Bourgeois of Dieppe and Evelyn (late Cyrille) Auffrey of Pré-d’En-Haut; one sister-in-law, Florence Cormier of Saint-Joseph; ten grandchildren: Marcel, Bernard, Caroline, André, Sylvie, Luc, Julie, Pierre, Philippe and Paryse; three great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Stéphane and Joshua, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerard in 2003; four sisters: Rita, Jeanita, Marie-Anne and Evelyn-as a child, as well as by three brothers: Maxime, Edgar and Roger-as a child.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Tuesday, January 22st, 2013 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
