Passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on January 17, 2013, at the Health Sciences Complex, St. John’s, Letsie Mereda Hunt in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband R. Clarence (2007); parents John and Margaret Norris; and brother Charles. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters Marie (Ronald) Hounsell of Brampton, ON, and Donna Hunt of St. John’s; two grandchildren: Rev. Randy (Esther) Hounsell of Hamilton, Ont., and Derek (Stephanie) Hounsell of Milton, Ont.; three great-grandchildren: Kristin and Sarah Hounsell of Brampton, Ont., and Lily Hounsell of Milton, Ont.; as well as a large circle of other relatives, friends, and her little dog Missey. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
