Bay Roberts, NL. Wife of The Late Rev’d C. Maxwell Andrews. Resident of Callingwood Downs, Clarke’s Beach. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 18, 2013, Mrs. Shirley (Delo) Andrews aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Rev’d C. Maxwell Andrews formerly of Port de Grave, NL. Her parents Edwin & Agnes (Doody) Delo, brothers Kingsley, Stewart, & Ross Delo, sisters Joy Howarth, June (Gibby) Gibson, Lois (Sandy) Barclay, brother-in-law Michael Howarth & sister-in-law Caroline Delo. She leaves to mourn with fond memories her loving daughter Cynthia (Edward) Traverse and a treasured grandson Peter Traverse. Brother Bob (Carol) Delo, sisters-in-law Roberta Delo, Betty Delo, Barbara Delo and Yvette Howarth, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. As per her request cremation has taken place. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home Bay Roberts on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 2 PM to 9PM with Memorial Service on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 2PM from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Barneed, Officiating: Rev’d Paul Rideout, Rev’d Amanda Taylor and assisting Deacon John Sparkes. Inurnment to take place at a later date from Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital foundation, a charity very dear to her heart.
