Harvey, Stanley Roy – 75, Truro passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Norman and Nellie (King) Harvey. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Susan (Michael) Taylor, Greenfield; Thomas Harvey (fiancé, Tanya Jones), Truro; Donna (Derrek) Palmer, Toronto; Eugene (Michelle) Harvey, Truro; grandchildren, Cody, Christie, Evan, Sarah, Thomas, all of Truro, Athena, Jesse, Toronto, Ont.; great-granddaughters, Raya and Leah; brothers, Robert (Donna) Harvey, Lethbridge, Alta., Lawrence Harvey, Bass River; sister, Betty (Clare) Reid, Debert; several nieces, nephews, in-laws and their families. Stanley was predeceased by his wife, Patricia; sisters, Kay Grant, Grace Turner, Doris Currie; brother, Eugene Harvey. A private family funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, January 24 in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Pastor Kaj Binderup officiating.
