Ruby Sharp-1930-2013
The death of ruby Constance (Tayes) Sharp, wife of the late Grant Sharp, of Midland, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. She was born on June 30, 1930, in Upham, NB, the daughter of the late Willaim and Althea (Sherwood) Tayes.
Ruby is survived by her daughters Beverly DeVouge of Truro, NS, and Nancy Sharp of Midland; grandchildren Patsy Payne (Mike Falkenham), Halifax; Willie ( Heather) DeVouge, Green Hill, NS; Lesley, Bethany and Jeffrey DeVouge, all of Truro; Danielle Sharp. Vancouver, BC; Kim Sharp (Scott Morrison), Midland and Brandon Sharp, Midland; great granddaughter Jessica Payne; great grandson Silas Morrison; and a great grandson due the end of January; sisters Marcella Gilchrist, Leona and Paul McEwen, Winifred and Guy Colpitts and Norma and Willard Mallory; brothers Wallace Tayes, Austin and Theresa Tayes, and Donnie and Shirley Tayes; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her great grandson Peter DeVouge; sisters Doris Fortune and Cora Allaby; brothers Wesley and alfred Tayes.
She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Friday, January 25, 2013, from 12 to 3 pm, followed by Funeral Service, conducted by Rev. Wally Collette at 3 pm, from Sherwood's Chapel.
