Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013, age 89 years, formerly residing at Maloney’s Personal Care Home, the Goulds. Predeceased by parents Samuel and Ida Pretty, son Ian (1985) and husband Alex (1989), brothers Sam Pretty, Tom Pretty and sisters Margaret (nee Pretty) Evans and Muriel of Thunder Bay. Survived by loving son Don (Peggy); beloved grandchildren Ian and Peggy Angela of Ottawa; sister-in-law Carmel Woodford; niece Donna Lee Copetti of Toronto; nephew Michael Woodford of Ann Arbor, Mi; and niece Heather-Ann McDonald. Also leaving to mourn very special friends and relatives the Robson Family (Gary, Donna, Tina, and Terry), Allison Smail (Blake) of St. Joseph’s Island, Ontario, Marie (Pretty) Smith of P.E.I., and Joe Woodford of Moncton, also a large circle of nieces and nephews. 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick Street.
