Passed away suddenly at Bonavista Hospital on January 18th, Clifford Leswere Gullage of Catalina, retired sea captain, aged 82 years. Pre-deceased by parents Edwin and Esther Gullage; wives Dulcie, Evelyn and Annie. Left with loving memories, his seven children: Maisie (Roy Johnson), Catalina; Connie Barnes, Boularderie, NS; Victoria, Ottawa, ON; Edwin (Glenda), Red Deer, AB; Stephanie (David Lewington), Oshawa, ON; Tracy, Burnaby, BC; Derrick, Regina, SK; ten grandchildren: Brent, Tim and Kirsten Johnson; Ingrid Carruthers; Lee Barnes; Susan Haggett; Amanda Nohr; Krystal Gullage; Kaitlin and Brian Lewington; five great-grandchildren: Amber, Aidan, Rachel, Deidre and Dillon; brother, Seymour (Beth), Brampton, ON; sister, Yvonne Whiffen, Mt. Pearl; members of the Chaulk and Paddle families; special friend, Elsie Johnson; and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Funeral was held at Bethany United Church, Catalina on January 22, with interment at Calvary Memorial Cemetery, Little Catalina. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cemetery Fund, Calvary Memorial United Church.
