Stirling, John Alexander Robert
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A.R. Stirling
who peacefully passed away at home on December 31st 2012, at the age of 63.
Beloved husband of Maria Goncalves, loving father to Alexandra and Carolyna and son of Robert
Stirling and the late Faye Stirling. He leaves behind his brothers, Tony, Blair and Joel; his sisters,
Jane, Marilyn and Bonnie; his Novais Goncalves family and other extended family; colleagues at the
Geological Survey of Canada and many friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Carl Boucher and Dr. Mark Gaudet and the staff at Gatineau Hospital for their kindness and support over the last year. There wasn’t a funeral service. Later a celebration in honor of John’s life will take place on Sunday February 10th in Quebec. Messages of condolences can be sent to www.cfo.coop.
