Norman MacFarlane
The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, January 24, 2013, of Norman MacFarlane, of North Carleton, in his 95th year.
Born in Cape Traverse, he was the son of the late Reginald and Aletha (Lowther) MacFarlane. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean (MacCallum) MacFarlane; children, Noel (Karen) MacFarlane, North Carleton; Dorothy Lynn (David) Wheeler, Ottawa, ON; Kent (Carol) MacFarlane, North Carleton; grandchildren, Jeffrey MacFarlane, Holly (Mark) Sutherland, Connor and Clyde Wheeler, Matt, Maggie and Jesse MacFarlane; sisters-in-law, Louise MacFarlane, Marina (George) Campbell and Dianne (Daniel) McLure; brothers-in-law, Lorne MacCallum and Ralph (Pearl) MacCallum; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister, Dorothy (Enzley) Campbell; brother, Everett MacFarlane; and by his sister-in-law, Edna MacCallum.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Sunday, then to Bedeque United Church, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will later take place in the Searletown Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request.
Memorial donations to the Bedeque United Church would be appreciated.
