Wile, Anthony “Tony” John, 52 of Windsor, Hants County, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on July 11, 1960 in New Brunswick. He was the son of the late, Leslie and Ruth (Lowthers) Wile. Tony was a devoted son to his father and a loving father to his children and also was a loving brother. He enjoyed going to Tim Hortons. He was a lover of Chevy’s and the Boston Bruins. Tony’s CB name was Night Hawk. Surviving are his partner, Muriel Sampson and their daughter, Mary; son, John Anthony Wile, Baybulls, Newfoundland and his mother, Joyce Wile, Fort McMurray; sisters, Rhoda (Charlie) Church, Vaughans; Sandra (Ernie) Smith, Three Mile Plains; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Ruth Wile; paternal grandparents, Reuban and Laura Wile; maternal grandparents, Fred and Pearl Lowthers. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (1-902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service was 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Henderson officiated. Interment was in the Maplewood Cemetery, King Street, Windsor. Donations in memory were requested to be made to Hants Community Hospital Palliative Care Unit or charity of one’s choice.
