ROBICHEAU, Beverly Marilyn – Of Yarmouth, passed away in her 81st year on January 24, 2013 surrounded by her family at The Meadows Home. Born in Yarmouth on October 4, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Eliza (Nickerson) Jenkins. Bev was a loving wife and mother to her seven children and a very proud grandmother. Her working life included her years at Yarmouth Zellers and as a personal care worker at Tidal View Manor, retiring in 1993. In her active retirement, Bev enjoyed line dancing, her Red Hatter adventures, time at the cottage and travel to warm and sunny beaches. Bev was a talented crafter and family and friends have been blessed with many of her stitched and quilted creations. She always held a special fondness for her childhood memories at Cape Forchu. In her illness, her gentle nature endeared her to caregivers and to those who shared her company. Bev’s family would like to thank the staff of The Meadows for making her feel so loved and cared for there. Bev is survived by daughter, Liz Tannahill, Dartmouth; sons, Wayne (Eileen), Brooklyn; Brian (Betty) and Paul (Roseline), Wedgeport; Dick, South Ohio and Steve (Sandy), Yarmouth; her grandchildren: Shawn (Tara), Glenn (Lisa), Dylan (Heather), Scott, Jessica, Caitlyn, Leslie, Moses and Sarah; her great granddaughters, Stephanie, Jillian and baby Celeste; nephews, Ken and Doug and niece, Debbie. She was a special “Grammie Bev” to Jennifer, Heather and Allison Blackler and to Dylan, Emiley, Issac, and Issabelle. Besides her parents, Bev was predeceased by her brother Ken (Eleanor), her husband, Bill (1992) and son, Tony (2011). Visitation was Sunday, January 27th, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth with prayers at 8 pm. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 28th at 2 pm in Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Deacon Stephen Bourque officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
