NEIL - Jean; After suffering a severe stroke, Jean passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock on Tuesday January 22, 2013. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Bill; parents Douglas and Mary and 2 sons Doug and Billy. She is survived by son Bob, daughter Sandy (son-in-law Glynne), daughter-in-law Naomi, cousins, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. After she married Bill, they resided in Prince Albert, where she became very active in Boy Scouts, CNRA, Parkland Community Club and the UCW. A Celebration of Jean's life will take place on Saturday February 2, 2013 at 2:00p.m. at the Arbor Centre, Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660-72nd Ave., Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers Jean's wishes are for memorials to Scouts Canada.
