The family of David Victor Hanson is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, January 27th, 2013 at the age of 59. David is survived by his three children, his son’s Curtis (Charla) and Adam (Alisha), his daughter Lisa (Kyle), his grandchildren Keaton, Alisha and Dylan and his sister’s Donna (Jerry) and Peggy (Dennis) and his brother Terry (Kim). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
David was born on April 21st, 1953 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan and has resided in Saskatchewan all of his life. David spent many years working as a mechanic and running his family farm in Chaplin. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodwork and painting but his greatest passion and joy was his family. David was a kind and loving man. He always had a kind ear and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a friend to many and always had a smile on his face.
A private family graveside service will take place in Chaplin at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s name may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
