Passed peacefully away after a short illness on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013 Alice (Woodrow) Keough. Predeceased by her loving husband Matt, parents John and Veronica Woodrow of Bay de Verde, sister Mary Fortune (Bishop Falls), step-brother Gerry Woodrow (Bay de Verde). Left to mourn are her sisters: Sister Monica Woodrow, (St. John’s), Helen Walsh (St. John’s) and Bernadette Kilfoy (Toronto). Also leaving to mourn is a large number of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Chancellor Park, where Alice lived for nearly four years, for their kindness and dedication. No visitations by request, Alice will have a Christian burial at St. Patrick’s Church at 9:30 a.m. on February 1st, 2013, followed by cremation and burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations made in her memory to Alzheimer Society of NL.
