Mary 'Margaret' MacLeod

Margaret MacLeod of Richmond Villa, formerly of Sterling, Richmond Co., Cape Breton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in North Framboise, she was the eldest daughter of the late Neil and Christine (MacIntyre) MacQueen.
Margaret was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Framboise.
She is survived by her sister, Annabell Campbell, Framboise; brother, John James (Margie), Sydney River; stepson, Danny, Howie Center; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her first husband, Donald; second husband, Dan Alex; sisters, Sadie and Mary Anne; stepdaughter, Dina; brothers, Angus Archie and Jimmy; son, Lawrence; and stepsons, Angus and Donald Norman.
At Margaret’s request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date in April, with interment in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
